Inspiration at The Urban Health Collective

Thursday afternoon here and I’m usually consulting at The Urban Health Collective. This is the view as I step outside my office.

Seeing fellow The Foot Collective foot nerd Georgina’s @awakened.vibrancy shoes outside her work room makes me happy. She is a holistic massage therapist at TUHC and feels best working barefoot, grounded. I have to thank her for being one of the first people to suggest that I should take my shoes off and seriously asking me why I needed to prescribe orthotics as the mainstay of my work.

Seeing her shoes is a regular reminder of how we can change. That and we could all do with some extra earthing in these times.

We’re deep into stage 4 very restrictive lockdowns here in Melbourne and amongst a lot of things it’s meant I have had to take an enforced break from working in this place. The best environment I’ve ever known in my career. I miss it.

Hats off to all Melbournians hanging tight through this.

Hopefully, soon we will all get back to the people, places and activities that give reasons for why we love living in Melbourne.
